Eclectic decor, with a sports bar meets pub vibe. Food is average at best. Ordered my boy blue burger which was extremely salt forward, chicken fried chicken was average in that there was nothing outstanding flavor wise. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans, the frito pie was actually delicious, with a bold chili as base amd came in a frito bag. Also had a shot of whiskey and the pour was stingy at best, not a complete shot. This place is good for beers, whiskey and cocktails but below average for food. Thr kicker was a horrible ac system making us sweat badly thr whole time.

We stopped by for lunch to check out the vibe. We love a good icehouse. Showed up on a Sunday around 11:30am. It was fairly busy, but still plenty of seating. We sat outdoors because the weather was nice. We had a beer, a bloody Mary, and skinny blueberry margarita for drinks. All were really good. We got loaded nachos with steak for the appetizer, which were FULLY loaded and so good. For entrees we had the buffalo chicken sandwich and the shrimp boil. The buffalo chicken sandwich and fries were tasty. There is a lot of seating, mostly outdoors, but a good amount of tables indoors, a lot of activities to keep kids busy. Our server was great, I think AJ was his name, but can't recall.

Great spot for families with young kids. Lots of space to run around and a very casual, easygoing environment. TVs with games/entertainment and plenty of seating options inside and outside. Everything is seat yourself, which makes it simple. Good beer selection and a nice weekend brunch menu. Service was fast and accommodating. Overall, a fun, low-stress place to hang out.

If I could duplicate this restaurant across the United States with no changes to anything I would. The drink menu, on point, the food all of it was money. When they tell you to get a burger, they mean it this 1/2 pound burger patty is the best I've had. I will be back. Add the live music to the mix and this place hits on every cylinder. Brent was an all star, non stop attention and perfect service.

Stopped by The Stix Icehouse in McKinney for lunch and overall had a really good experience. The vibe is casual and lively with a big indoor/outdoor setup, plenty of space, and that classic Texas beer-garden feel. It’s the kind of place that’s great for groups, sports watching, or just hanging out. Décor and atmosphere lean casual and eclectic, there’s lots of interesting memorabilia and Texas history touches on the walls, TVs for sports fans, and plenty of room to relax. A few folks have mentioned it can get a bit loud and busy, especially later in the day, but that’s part of the lively feel for this kind of place. I sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks, all were delicious and well crafted. The bartender was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations, which really elevated the visit. The only downside for me was the shrimp tacos. I ended up taking them home and didn’t finish them, they just weren’t my favorite. I’ve heard food can be a little hit or miss, but the drinks and service definitely shine. Parking was a bit scarce during lunchtime, but I eventually found a spot. Overall, I’d absolutely go back for the drinks, atmosphere, and service!
